ASHFORD ACADEMY HISTORY The Ashford Academy of Irish Dance was established in June 2003 by Jill A. Domick Etoll TCRG. Jill is a certified Irish dance teacher through An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha in Dublin, Ireland. Since we are a certified school, our dancers are recognized by An Coimisiun & have the opportunity to compete at Local, National & inter-national competitions. Jill is assisted by Samantha Shehadi (Milazzo). Both are Champion dancers who competed successfully throughout North America and Ireland. The Ashford Academy consists of beginner through champion level dancers ranging in age from 3 to 18, plus adults too!! Dancers are encouraged to participate at performances, parades and feis (Irish dancing competitions). Some of our past performances include the Syracuse St. Patrick's Day Parade, Grand Marshall Dinner, The wolfe Tones Concert, and the Guinness Festival. -- ***The Ashford Academy is a Certified Irish Dancing school with a Certified teacher at every lesson.*** General Information: --The Ashford Academy accepts dancers ages 4 and up. --Tuition is $45/month for 1 student, $80/month for families with 2 or more dancers. Tuition is paid quarterly. See FAQ Page for detailed information. Bring a friend...if one of your friends joins, you get 1 month free ($45)!! -- Classes are now available for 4 & 5 year olds. Lessons are 45 minutes long & tuition is $25/month. -- Classes sizes are small so each student receives our full attention. --If a transfer student is accepted, a $25 transfer fee applies to be made payable to the Mid-Atlantic region. --Private lessons are available from Jill , Sam & the senior dancers. -- Please see FAQ page & policy link on home page for more information |
